Abstract:
(EN) An illumination device (200) utilizing a pulse modulation technique of a solid state light source to provide increased light output for a given heat load. The power is supplied by the pulse generator (225) in pulses to periodically activate a short wavelength emitting LED (230), which in turn stimulates a phosphor-based color conversion system to produce sustained white light.
(FR) L'invention concerne un dispositif d'éclairage (200) utilisant la technique de modulation d'impulsions d'une source lumineuse à solide pour obtenir un rendement lumineux plus élevé pour une charge thermique donnée. L'énergie électrique est fournie par le générateur (225) d'impulsions sous forme d'impulsions qui actionnent périodiquement une diode DEL (230) émettant des longueurs d'onde courtes, laquelle stimule à son tour un système de conversion à base de luminophore de manière à produire une lumière blanche soutenue.
