(EN) A transponder communication device (8) include interrogation means (13) for generating and transmission means (20) for transmitting interrogation information (AFI, BTAFI) of at least one type, and receiving means (25) for receiving answer information (AWI, BTI) of at least one type, and answer information detection means (30), and further includes means (19, 18, 20, 9', 25, 38, 39) for carrying out an operational test and for this purpose it has been provided with an operational test transponder (9') arranged within the receiving range of the transponder communication device (8) and also capable of communication when other transponders (9) are situated within the receiving range, and which includes means (52') for generating and means (55') for transmitting operational test information (BTI) which can be detected by operational test information detection means (38) in the transponder communication device (8).
(FR) L'invention concerne un transpondeur de communication (8) comprenant un dispositif d'interrogation (13) et un dispositif de transmission (20) destinés à la génération et à la transmission de données d'interrogation (AFI, BTAFI) d'au moins un type, un dispositif de réception (25) destiné à la réception de données de réponse (AWI, BTI) d'au moins un type, et un dispositif de détection de données de réponse (30); le transpondeur comprend également un dispositif (19, 18, 20, 9', 25, 38, 39) permettant d'effectuer un essai de fonctionnement, et à cette fin, il comporte un transpondeur d'essai de fonctionnement (9') disposé dans la gamme de réception du transpondeur de communication (8) et capable de communiquer lorsque d'autres transpondeurs (9) sont situés dans cette gamme de réception, et comprenant un dispositif de génération (52') et un dispositif de transmission (55') de données d'essai de fonctionnement (BTI) qui peuvent être détectées par un dispositif de détection de données d'essai de fonctionnement (38) situé dans le transpondeur de communication (8).
