Abstract:
(EN) A modulation circuit (10) converts input data in a symbol generator (100) to M symbol values which are converted in in-phase and quadrature phase generators (200, 250) to M in-phase and M quadrature phase time domain samples which are combined in a modulator (290) to generate a single-sideband modulated signal. The in-phase and quadrature phase generators (200, 250) include transform circuits (210, 310) and polyphase filters (220, 320). A demodulator (400) includes a memory (402) for storing the 2M most recently received time-domain values, a polyphase filter bank (404), a polyphase processor (406) and a transform circuit (408).
