Abstract:
(EN) An improved marine riser (12a, 12b) is described which has couplings (20, 22) with screw-threads for securing marine riser sections together and a carousel mechanism (50) for coupling the auxiliary lines (14) to the marine riser sections (12a, 12b) at various locations along the sections to permit the lines (14) to rotate freely relative to the marine riser sections as the sections are rotatably assembled. An improved buoyancy module (110, 118) is also described which houses the choke and kill lines (116) in buoyancy module fairing portions (114, 120, 122) for reducing the effective module diameter and the effect of current and vortex shedding.
(FR) La présente invention concerne un tube prolongateur perfectionné (12a, 12b) dont les couplages (20, 22) comportent des filetages permettant de retenir ensemble des longueurs de tube prolongateur. Un mécanisme à carrousel (50) permet d'assujettir aux longueurs de tube prolongateur (12a, 12b) les lignes auxiliaires (14), en différents points le long des longueurs, de façon à laisser les lignes (14) tourner librement autour des longueurs de tube prolongateur pendant l'assemblage rotatif des longueurs. L'invention concerne également un module de flottabilité perfectionné (110, 118) qui reçoit le tube de circuit de boue et la conduite d'injection dans des parties carénées du module de flottabilité (114, 120, 122) de façon à réduire le diamètre effectif du module et à effectuer les décollements de tourbillon et de courant.
