Abstract:
(EN) Vehicle door mechanism has self-acting latching means in which a latch release lever (10) operated by an inside handle of the door frees the door for opening and locking means operated by a lock drive lever (22) secures the latching means to lock the door. The two levers are coupled by motion transmitting engagement of an abutment (20) on one lever locating with a formation (34) on the other to positively shift the lock drive lever (22) to locked condition by movement of the release lever (10) beyond a neutral position in a first direction with a spring (36) acting between the levers (10, 22) to return the lock drive lever (22) to unlocked condition when the release lever (10) is moved the opposite way as far as or beyond the neutral position, and allowing further movement of the release lever (10) for unlatching the door. The spring (36) aids return of the release lever (10) to its neutral position and the arrangement enables latching and locking to be effected by the door handle alone.
(FR) La présente invention se rapporte à un mécanisme de portières de véhicules pourvu de dispositifs de verrouillage automatiques dans lesquels un levier de libération (10) de verrou activé par une poignée intérieure de la portière libère celle-ci, et de dispositifs de fermeture activés par un levier de commande de fermeture (22) fixant les dispositifs de verrouillage pour fermer la portière. Les deux leviers sont couplés par un contact de transmission de mouvements entre une butée (20) et un premier levier placé avec une empreinte (34) sur le second levier, de manière à déplacer positivement le levier de commande de fermeture (22) vers une position de verrouillage, par le déplacement du levier de libération (10), en dessous d'une position neutre dans une première direction; un ressort (36) agissant entre les leviers (10, 22) pour que le levier de commande de fermeture (22) retourne à sa position d'ouverture lorsque le levier de libération (10) est déplacé dans le sens contraire, jusqu'à la position neutre ou plus loin encore, permettant ainsi au levier de libération (10) un déplacement supplémentaire afin de déverrouiller la portière. Le ressort (36) aide le levier de libération (10) à retourner dans sa position neutre et l'agencement permet que le verrouillage et la fermeture s'effectuent uniquement par la poignée de la portière.
