Abstract:
(EN) A tensioning device (1) adapted for applying tension to a tendon (2), comprising a first coupling (10) adapted for attachment to the tendon (2) adjacent an end (7) thereof, a second coupling (11) adapted for attachment to an anchorage (3) separate from said end (7), tie means (15, 16) extending between and connected to the couplings (10, 11), and load applying means (19, 20) operable to act between the tie means (15, 16) and at least one of the couplings (10, 11) to cause relative movement of the tie means (15, 16) and coupling longitudinally of the tendon (2) such as to urge the one coupling (10) towards the other coupling (11) and thereby urge said end of the tendon (2) towards the anchorage (3) whereby the tendon (2) is tensioned. A method of tensioning a tendon, comprising the steps of applying to the tendon a tensioning device, the first coupling of the tensioning device being attached to the tendon adjacent one end, an opposite end of the tendon being anchored, the second coupling being attached to an anchorage separate from said one end, and operating the load applying means of the tensioning device to cause the one coupling to be urged towards the other so as to tension the tendon.
(FR) L'invention concerne un dispositif de mise en tension (1), destiné à appliquer une tension à une armature de précontrainte (2). Ce dispositif comprend un premier manchon d'accouplement (10), destiné à être raccordé à ladite armature (2), à proximité de l'une des extrémités (7) de cette armature, un second manchon d'accouplement (11), destiné à être fixé à un ancrage (3) séparé de ladite extrémité (7), des liens (15, 16) qui s'étendent entre lesdits manchons d'accouplement (10, 11) et sont reliés à ces derniers, et des organes (19, 20) d'application de charge destinés à fonctionner entre lesdits liens (15, 16) et au moins l'un desdits manchons (10, 11), afin d'imprimer un mouvement longitudinal aux liens (15, 16) et aux manchons par rapport à ladite armature (2), de manière à pousser le premier manchon d'accouplement (10) vers le second manchon d'accouplement (11), et ainsi presser l'extrémité de l'armature (2) vers l'ancrage (3), ce qui met en tension ladite armature. L'invention concerne également un procédé de mise en tension d'une armature, comprenant les étapes consistant: à appliquer un dispositif de mise en tension à ladite armature, le premier manchon d'accouplement de ce dispositif étant fixé à proximité de l'une des extrémités de l'armature, l'extrémité opposée de l'armature étant ancrée, et le second manchon d'accouplement fixé à un ancrage séparé de la première extrémité; et à commander les organes d'application de charge du dispositif de mise en tension, de sorte que le premier manchon d'accouplement soit poussé vers le second, mettant ainsi en tension ladite armature.
