Abstract:
(EN) An infrared energy reflecting enamel composition comprises a ground coat (2, 1002) of enamel on a substrate (1, 1001) and embedded TiO2 particles (3, 1003) in the ground coat of enamel. The infrared reflecting enamel composition has an infrared energy reflectivity value of at least 80 %. A method for manufacturing the composition is also disclosed for embedding the TiO2 in the enamel. The enamel may also comprise metal oxide particles that enhance the infrared energy reflectivity of the enamel. Further, the metal oxide particles in the enamel can be formed in several ways so as to enhance the reflectivity.
(FR) L'invention concerne une composition d'émail réfléchissant l'énergie infrarouge, qui comporte une couche primaire (2, 1002) d'émail sur un substrat (1, 1001) et des particules (1, 1003) de TiO2 incluses dans la couche primaire d'émail. La composition d'émail réfléchissant l'infrarouge possède un pouvoir réfléchissant d'énergie infrarouge égal à au moins 80 %. Un procédé de fabrication de la composition est également décrit, qui prévoit l'inclusion de TiO2 dans l'émail. L'émail peut également comporter des particules d'oxyde métallique qui permettent d'améliorer le pouvoir réfléchissant d'énergie infrarouge de l'émail.
