Abstract:
(EN) A flame-retardant polyamide that is the polycondensation product of at least one dicarboxylic acid, at least one diamine and a flame-retarding carboxyphosphinic acid monomer, said polyamide comprising between about .10 and about 1.0 % by weight of phosphorous. The polyamide can be formed into fibers for further fabrication into flame-retardant articles and textiles or directly molded or extruded into shaped articles.
(FR) L'invention a trait à un polyamide difficilement inflammable, produit de la polycondensation d'au moins un acide dicarboxylique, d'au moins une diamine et d'un monomère d'acide carboxy-phosphinique ininflammable, ce polyamide comprenant d'environ 0.10 à environ 1,0 % en poids de phosphore. Ce polyamide peut être façonné en fibres aux fins d'une fabrication ultérieure d'articles et de textiles difficilement inflammables ou directement moulé ou encore extrudé en article formé.
