Abstract:
(EN) A method by which pentafluoroethane (HFC-125) can be efficiently separated from a mixture of HFC-125 with chloropentafluoroethane (CFC-115). The process for preparing high-concentration HFC-125 by the extractive distillation of a mixture (2) of HFC-125 with CFC-115 comprises using an ethylene glycol compound (3) represented by the formula: R1O(CH2CH2O)nR2 (wherein R1 and R2 are each independently hydrogen or C1-C4 alkyl; and n is an integer of 1 to 3) as the extractant to obtain CFC-115 as the distillate (4) and a mixture of HFC-125 with the extractant as the bottom (5), recovering HFC-125 from the mixture through distillation, and reusing the extractant thus separated for the extractive distillation.
(FR) L'invention concerne un procédé selon lequel on peut séparer efficacement du pentafluoroéthane (HFC-125) contenu dans un mélange de HFC-125 et de chloropentafluoroéthane (CFC-115). Ce procédé de préparation de HFC-125 fortement concentré, par distillation extractive d'un mélange (2) de HFC-125 et de CFC-115, consiste à utiliser comme agent d'extraction un composé d'éthylène glycol (3) représenté par la formule R1O(CH2CH2O)nR2 (où R1 et R2 représentent indépendamment hydrogène ou alkyle C1-C4; et n est un nombre entier compris entre 1 et 3), pour obtenir du CFC-115 comme distillat (4) et un mélange de HFC-125 et d'agent d'extraction comme résidu de distillation (5), et à récupérer le HFC-125 à partir du mélange par distillation, puis à réutiliser l'agent d'extraction ainsi séparé pour la distillation extractive.
