Abstract:
(EN) A fast-setting coating material can be prepared by contacting a stable acqueous dispersion of a polymer that contains strong cationic groups and weak acid groups onto a substrate that is basic or rendered to be basic. Alternatively, the coating material can be prepared by contacting in either order or concurrently, the surface of a substrate with two separate polymers, one of which contains strong cationic groups, and the other of which contains weak acid groups. In this case, the substrate need not be basic for the coating to quickly set.
(FR) On prépare un matériau de revêtement à fixage rapide en disposant sur un substrat basique ou rendu basique par enduisage une dispersion aqueuse stable d'un polymère comprenant des groupes cationiques forts et des groupes acides faibles. On peut autrement préparer ce matériau de revêtement en mettant en contact, dans un ordre quelconque ou simultanément, la surface d'un substrat et deux polymères distincts, l'un comprenant des groupes cationiques forts et l'autre des groupes acides faibles. Dans ce dernier cas, il n'est pas nécessaire que le substrat soit basique pour que le revêtement se fixe rapidement.
