Abstract:
(EN) A gaming device security system (10) is disclosed which includes two processing areas (20, 60) linked together and communicating critical gaming functions via a security protocol wherein each transmitted gaming function includes a specific encrypted signature to be decoded and validated before being processed by either processing area. The two processing areas (20, 60) include a first processing area (20) having a dynamic RAM and an open architecture design which is expandable without interfering or accessing critical gaming functions and a second 'secure' processing area (60) having a non-alterable memory for the storage of critical gaming functions therein.
(FR) L'invention concerne un système de sécurité de dispositif de jeu (10) comprenant deux zones de traitement (20, 60) reliées et communiquant des fonctions de jeu critiques via un protocole de sécurité, chaque fonction de jeu transmise comprenant une signature chiffrée spécifique devant être décodée et validée avant d'être traitée par l'une des zones de traitement. Les deux zones de traitement (20, 60) sont formées d'une première zone de traitement (20) possédant une mémoire RAM dynamique et une conception architecturale ouverte qu'on peut étendre sans interférer avec les fonctions de jeu ou y accéder; et d'une deuxième zone de traitement 'sûre' (60) présentant une mémoire non modifiable destinée au stockage de fonctions de jeu critiques.
