(EN)There are proposed a method for determining timing differences between a plurality of radio transmitters (BTS) and a radio network incorporating the method. Timing information of signals received by measuring means from said plurality of radio transmitters (BTS) is determined. The timing differences between said plurality of radio transmitters (BTS) are determined on the basis of said timing information determined by said measuring means and the respective distance differences between said plurality of radio transmitters (BTS) and said measuring means. This method can be advantageously applied to locating mobile stations in a mobile radio network.
(FR)L'invention, qui concerne un procédé de détermination de déphasages entre une pluralité d'émetteurs radio (BTS), concerne également un réseau radio utilisant ce procédé. On détermine des informations de synchronisation des signaux reçus en provenance de la pluralité d'émetteurs radio (BTS) par un organe de mesure. On détermine ces déphasages au sein de la pluralité d'émetteurs radio (BTS) en fonction desdites informations de synchronisation telles qu'elles sont déterminées par ledit organe de mesure, puis on détermine les différents écarts de distance entre chacun des émetteurs radio (BTS) et ledit organe de mesure. Ce procédé convient particulièrement au repérage des stations mobiles dans un réseau radio mobile.
