Abstract:
(EN) Handovers based on cell loading aim at discharging the load of a congested cell into nearby cells which are less congested. With state-of-the-art arrangements the cumbersome parametrisation and the heavy signalling required by the method are problems. This invention presents a method which reduces the necessary parametrisation and signalling and which is based on integration of the functionality in one network element.
(FR) Les passages motivés par la charge des cellules visent à soulager la charge d'une cellule encombrée dans des cellules voisines moins encombrées. Dans les contextes actuels, le paramétrage difficile et la signalisation lourde requis par les procédés constituent des problèmes. Cette invention présente un procédé réduisant le paramétrage et la signalisation nécessaires et il se base sur l'intégration de la fonctionnalité dans un élément de réseau.
