Abstract:

(EN)An electrical connector having retention members allow the use of automatic machines for its assembly, thereby facilitating the assembly process. Electrical connector (1) has retention members (12, 14) fabricated as an integral part of a housing (2) in the mold in an open state. When the housing (2) is ejected from the mold in the direction (B), the retention members (12, 14) interfere with an inside surface (82) of the mold (80) which presses them in the direction (C), thus forcing a step (12c) to engage with an edge (30a) of the housing (2), thereby automatically placing the retention members in a temporary-retention position relative to the housing (2).
(FR)L'invention concerne un connecteur électrique doté d'éléments de rétention et pouvant être assemblé par des machines automatiques, ce qui facilite le procédé d'assemblage. Un connecteur électrique (1) est doté d'éléments de rétention (12, 14) formés comme une partie intégrante d'un logement (2) dans le moule à l'état ouvert. Lorsque le logement (2) est éjecté du moule dans la direction (B), les éléments de rétention (12, 14) entrent en contact avec une surface intérieure (82) du moule (80) qui les presse dans la direction (C), forçant ainsi un gradin (12c) à s'engrener avec un rebord (30a) du logement (2), ce qui place automatiquement les éléments de rétention dans une position de rétention temporaire par rapport au logement (2).
