Abstract:
(EN) A hermetically sealed cell permitting, when its internal pressure has risen as a consequence of short-circuiting, overcharging, reverse charging or the like, prompt release of the internal pressure and cut-off of the current at the same time to effectively prevent a temperature rise in or explosion of the cell and thereby ensure the safety and reliability of the cell. The cell is characterized in that a gap (3) is formed between the periphery of a valve disc (5) and a metallic substrate (1) so that, when the internal pressure of the cell has risen, the valve disc (5) together with a metallic foil (2) can smoothly rise from the substrate (1) pivoting on a pivoting base (4) to cut off the current without fail by cutting leads (6) or releasing the soldered parts (8) of the leads (6), and that the metallic foil (2) blocking the gap (3) formed around the valve disc (5) is burst stably and accurately under a prescribed pressure to open a through valve port (7), thereby enabling the gas within the cell to be released outside and the cell to be prevented from exploding.
(FR) L'invention concerne un élément fermé hermétiquement permettant, lorsque sa pression interne augmente, consécutivement à un court-circuit, à une surcharge, à une charge inverse ou similaire, l'évacuation rapide de la pression interne et la coupure du courant simultanée pour empêcher l'augmentation de la température ou l'explosion de l'élément et assurer ainsi la sécurité et la fiabilité de l'élément. Ledit élément se caractérise en ce qu'un espace (3) est formé entre la périphérie d'un disque de clapet (5) et d'un substrat métallique de sorte que, lorsque la pression interne de l'élément a augmenté, le disque de clapet (5) conjointement avec une feuille métallique (2), peut monter progressivement par rapport au substrat (1) en pivotant sur une base de pivot (4) pour couper le courant sans défaillance par coupure des conducteurs (6) ou par désolidarisation des parties brasées (8) des conducteurs (6), et en ce que la feuille métallique (2) bloquant l'espace (3) formé autour du disque de clapet (5) éclate de manière stable et précise à une pression établie pour ouvrir un orifice de soupape traversant (7), ce qui permet au gaz présent dans l'élément d'être évacué à l'extérieur et à l'élément de ne pas exploser.
