Abstract:
(EN) A magnetically soft Co-Fe-C alloy is disclosed which contains in weight percent, about carbon 0.05-0.50; manganese 0.5 max.; silicon 0.5 max.; phosphorus 0.01 max.; sulfur 0.01 max.; chromium 1.0 max.; nickel 1.0 max.; molybdenum 0.25 max.; cobalt 14-28; vanadium 0.1 max.; niobium 0.1 max.; tungsten 0.1 max; and the balance is essentially iron. The alloy provides a yield strength of up to about 580 MPa (84 ksi) while maintaining ductility and magnetic induction comparable to the known 27Co-Fe soft magnetic alloy. Magnetic and mechanical properties are developed through an annealing heat treatment which is performed after the alloy has been mechanically worked and machined to final shape.
(FR) Alliage magnétique doux de type Co-Fe-C, contenant en masse environ 0,05-0,50 % de carbone, 0,5 % max. de manganèse, 0,5 % max. de silicium,. 0,01 % max. de phosphore, 0,01 % max. de soufre, 1,0 % max. de chrome, 1,0 % max. de nickel, 0,25 % max. de molybdène, 14-28 % de cobalt, 0,1 % max. de vanadium, 0,1 % max. de niobium, 0,1 % max. de tungstène, le reste étant essentiellement du fer. Cet alliage présente une limite conventionnelle d'élasticité qui peut atteindre environ 580 MPa (84 ksi) tout en gardant une ductilité et une induction magnétique comparables à celles de l'alliage doux magnétique CoFe27. Les propriétés magnétiques et mécaniques résultent d'un recuit, appliqué après que l'alliage a été traité mécaniquement et usiné dans sa forme définitive.
