(EN)The invention relates to a method and arrangement for connecting a processor to an ASIC. In the arrangement, the processor generates control signals employed when the processor reads data from and writes data to the ASIC. The arrangement comprises means (10) for receiving control signals from the processor and generating read and write signals on the basis of the received signals. The means (10) are implemented by an asynchronous state machine that changes its state on the basis of the received signals. The means (10) change their state without a synchronizing clock signal.
(FR)L'invention concerne un procédé et un agencement de connexion d'un processeur à un ASIC. Dans l'agencement, le processeur génère des signaux de commande utilisés lorsque ledit processeur lit des données et écrit des données dans l'ASC. L'agencement comprend des moyens (10) destinés à recevoir des signaux de commande du processeur et à générer des signaux de lecture et d'écriture sur la base des signaux reçus. Les moyens (10) sont mis en oeuvre par un automate fini asynchrone changeant son état sur la base des signaux reçus. Les moyens (10) changent d'état sans signal d'horloge de synchronisation.
