Title (EN) SLAB CONSTRUCTION
(FR) CONSTRUCTION DE DALLAGE
Abstract:
(EN) The invention concerns a slab construction (10) in which concrete is placed $i(in situ) on formwork, possibly permanent, which includes spaced apart, parallel support members (12) and formers (16) located between and supported by the support members. The support members and formers are arranged such that the concrete forms a slab with a series of relatively deep, spaced apart beam portions (50) and relatively shallow slab portions (52) between the beam portions. Post-tensioned elements (22) are located in the beam portions of the slab.
