Abstract:
(EN) An invar alloy steel sheet for a shadow mask having improved etching characteristics, an economical method of production thereof, a shadow mask made from the invar alloy steel sheet, and a color picture tube incorporating the shadow mask. The production method is characterized by hot working a slab of an alloy consisting of 33 to 40 wt.% of Ni and the balance of Fe, applying primary cold rolling at a rolling reduction of not higher than 80 %, annealing the sheet at a temperature not lower than 550 °C, and applying further secondary cold rolling at a rolling reduction of not higher than 50 %, so that a planar integration of the {100} plane of the rolled surface is 60 to 80 %.
(FR) Cette invention concerne une tôle d'acier en alliage Invar qui est destinée à un masque perforé et possède des caractéristiques de gravure améliorées. Cette invention concerne également un procédé économique de fabrication de cette tôle, un masque perforé obtenu à partir de cette tôle d'acier en alliage Invar, ainsi qu'un tube d'images couleur comprenant ce masque perforé. Le procédé de production consiste à travailler à chaud une brame d'un alliage comprenant de 33 à 40 % en poids de Ni, le reste se composant de Fe. On effectue un premier laminage à froid selon un taux de réduction au laminage ne dépassant pas 80 %, après quoi la tôle est recuite à une température au moins égale à 550 °C. On effectue ensuite un second laminage à froid selon un taux de réduction au laminage ne dépassant 50 %, ceci de manière à ce que l'intégration plane du plan {100} de la surface laminée varie de 60 à 80 %.
