Abstract:
(EN) The present invention provides a method for preparing a fluorochemical composition comprising a urethane by reacting: (A) fluorochemical oligomer of the formula (I): MfmMn-Q1-T1 wherein MfmMn represents a fluorochemical oligomer comprising m units derived from fluorinated monomer and n units derived from fluorine-free monomer and wherein the fluorinated monomers and fluorine-free monomers may be the same or different; m is a value of about 2 to 40; n is a value of about 0 to 20; T1 is an -OH or -NH2 moiety; Q1 and T1 together represent an organic residue obtained by removing a hydrogen atom from a chain transfer agent that is functionalized with T1; (B) monofunctional compound capable of reacting with an isocyanate and comprising a poly(oxyalkylene) group; (C) isocyanate blocking agent or a fluorine-free oligomer; and (D) isocyanate-reactive compound other than said fluorochemical oligomer, said isocyanate blocking agent, said fluorine-free oligomer and said monofunctional compound; with (E) diisocyanate or a triisocyanate, wherein 33 % to 67 % of the number of isocyanate groups are reacted with the fluorochemical oligomer according to the formula (I), 33 % to 67 % of the number of isocyanate groups are reacted with said monofunctional compound, 0 to 33 % of the number of isocyanate groups are reacted with an isocyanate blocking agent or a fluorine-free oligomer and 0 to 10 % of the number of isocyanate groups are reacted with said isocyanate-reactive compound. Substrates treated with the fluorochemical composition made according to the method described above have good stain release properties particularly for oily stains and water-based stains such as wine, tea and coffee.
(FR) La présente invention concerne un procédé permettant de préparer une composition fluorée renfermant un uréthanne, par la mise en réaction de: (A) un oligomère fluoré représenté par la formule (I): MfmMn-Q1-T1, dans laquelle MfmMn représente un oligomère fluoré doté de m unités obtenues à partir d'un monomère fluoré, et de n unités obtenues à partir d'un monomère exempt de fluor, les monomères fluorés et les monomères exempts de fluor pouvant être les mêmes ou différents; m représente une valeur comprise entre 2 et 40; n représente une valeur comprise entre 0 et 20; T1 est une fraction -OH ou -NH2; Q1 et T1 représentent ensemble un résidu organique obtenu par élimination d'un atome d'hydrogène d'un agent de transfert de chaîne qui est fonctionnalisé avec T1; (B) un composé difonctionnel capable de réagir avec un isocyanate, et comportant un groupe poly(oxyalkylène); (C) un agent bloquant d'isocyanate ou un oligomère exempt de fluor; et (D) un composé réagissant avec l'isocyanate autre que ledit oligomère fluoré, ledit agent bloquant d'isocyanate, ledit oligomère exempt de fluor et ledit composé monofonctionnel; avec (E) un diisocyanate ou un triisocyanate, dans lequel de 33 % à 67 % des groupes isocyanate sont mis à réagir avec l'oligomère fluoré représenté par la formule (I), de 33 % à 67 % des groupes isocyanate sont mis à réagir avec ledit composé monofonctionnel, de 0 à 33 % des groupes isocyanate sont mis à réagir avec un agent bloquant d'isocyanate ou un oligomère exempt de fluor, et de 0 à 10 % des groupes isocyanate sont mis à réagir avec ledit composé réagissant avec l'isocyanate. Des substrats traités avec la composition fluorée, préparée selon le procédé décrit, présentent de bonnes propriétés facilitant le lavage, en particulier à l'égard de taches de graisse et de taches à base d'eau telles que des taches de vin, de thé et de café.
