Abstract:
(EN) A thermal recording material having a thermal coloring layer provided on a substrate, the thermal coloring layer composed mainly of a color-developing compound which is usually colorless or has a light color and a developer compound capable of conducting color development of the color-developing compound upon exposure to heat, wherein the developer compound contains crystals of 3,3'-diallyl-4,4'-dihydroxydiphenyl sulfone having a DSC (Te) of 149 °C or above and a crystal form characterized by an X-ray diffraction pattern having a peak at least at diffraction angles (2$g(u)) [°] of 7.2 and 22.0 as measured by powder X-ray diffractometry using a Cu-K$g(a) line. The thermal recording material has high sensitivity, is less likely to cause fogging in unexposed areas upon exposure to moist heat, and provides images with excellent storage stability.
(FR) L'invention a trait à un matériau de thermogravure pourvu d'un revêtement de colorant thermique sur un substrat, ce revêtement étant principalement constitué d'un composé révélateur de couleur, habituellement incolore ou de teinte pâle, et d'un composé développateur capable de diriger le développement des couleurs exécuté par le composé révélateur de couleur après exposition à la chaleur. Le composé développateur contient des cristaux de 3,3'-diallyl-4,4'-dihydroxyphényl sulfone d'une analyse calorimétrique à compensation de puissance (DSC) (Te) égale ou supérieure à 149 °C. La forme cristalline est caractérisée par un diagramme de diffraction des rayons X ayant une crête, au moins à des angles de diffraction (2$g(u)) [°], de 7,2 et 22,0, comme mesuré par diffractométrie de rayons X sur poudre utilisant une ligne Cu-K$g(a). Ce matériau de thermogravure, qui possède une sensibilité élevée, est peu susceptible de provoquer un effet de voile dans les parties non exposées après exposition à une chaleur humide et permet d'obtenir des images d'une grande stabilité au stockage.
