Abstract:
(EN) A method of curing large endless track rubber belts uses a multi-platen mold assembly (3) with a pair of fully supporting indexing wheels (8), non-preformed lug preparation and a postforming cavity pressure reduction to provide cured tracks with non-deformed reinforcing members while avoiding the extrusion of rubber compound out of the ends of the molds. Also provided is an apparatus for curing large endless track belts having fully supporting indexing wheels (8).
(FR) Dans le cadre de cette technique de durcissement de grandes bandes caoutchouc pour chenilles, on utilise un ensemble de moulage à plateaux multiples (3) pourvu de deux roues de positionnement entièrement porteuses (8) et une ébauche de barrettes non préformées, la pression de postformage de cavité étant réduite afin d'obtenir des chenilles durcies à éléments de renfort non déformés tout en évitant l'épanchement de composé de caoutchouc hors des extrémités des moules. L'invention concerne également un dispositif permettant de faire durcir de grandes bandes caoutchouc pour chenilles, ce dispositif étant pourvu de roues de positionnement entièrement porteuses.
