(EN)A method of making a microparticle that contains DNA coding for a polypeptide is described in which a solvent extraction method is used and solvent extraction takes place at elevated temperature. Oral administration of the microparticle leads to its expression. DNA coding for an immunogen is for stimulating antibody formation in a recipient and DNA coding for a non-immunogenic polypeptide is for gene therapy applications. DNA is incorporated into the microparticle without destruction of its function.
(FR)L'invention concerne un procédé de fabrication d'une microparticule qui renferme de l'ADN codant pour un polypeptide. Pour fabriquer cette microparticule, on utilise une méthode d'extraction au solvant, cette extraction au solvant s'effectuant à température élevée. L'administration par voie orale de la microparticule induit l'expression de celle-ci. L'ADN codant pour un immunogène est destiné à stimuler la formation d'anticorps chez un receveur, et l'ADN codant pour un polypeptide non-immunogène est destiné à des applications de thérapie génique. L'ADN est incorporé dans la microparticule sans destruction de sa fonction.
