Abstract:
(EN) The present invention relates to apparatuses and methods for measuring three important physiological systems, circulation, breathing, and body water compartments. More specifically, the present invention relates to apparatuses and methods for a continuous simultaneous/synchronized and noninvasive measurement of heart pump function, elastic properties of the vascular system, systemic vascular resistance, breathing capacity, and body water compartments through the combined use of bioimpedance and continuous blood pressure measurement techniques (5, 6) and, optionally, spirometry (7) and/or plethysmography.
(FR) Cette invention se rapporte à des appareils et à des procédés permettant de mesurer les trois systèmes physiologiques importants que sont la circulation sanguine, la respiration et les compartiments de sécrétion d'eau corporelle. Cette invention se rapporte plus sépcifiquement à des appareils et à des procédés permettant de réaliser des mesures simultanées/synchronisées et non invasives en continu de la fonction de pompe cardiaque, des propriétés élastiques du système vasculaire, de la résistance vasculaire systémique, de la capacité respiratoire et des compartiments de sécrétion d'eau corporelle, grâce à l'utilisation combinée de techniques de bio-impédance et de mesure de la pression artérielle en continu (5, 6) et, éventuellement, de la spirométrie (7) et/ou de la pléthysmographie.
