Abstract:
(EN) A method for providing a link between an information signal (98, 100) (such as a broadcast and cable television and/or radio signals) and networked resources (such as the Internet) comprising the steps of embedding access information in a transmission medium, the access information adapted to provide access to content of the networked resource relevant to content of the information signal, transmitting the information signal and the access information (98, 100), receiving the information signal and the access information at a user terminal, extracting the access information from the transmission medium, utilizing the access information to access the networked resource with an access signal (102, 104), and displaying content of the networked resource on the user terminal corresponding to the access information. Embodiments are provided wherein the information signal (98, 100) is provided by the networked resource provider or a distinct audio/video signal content provider (94) via wired (98) and wireless (100) means.
(FR) L'invention concerne un procédé destiné à établir une liaison entre un signal d'information (98, 100) (par exemple des signaux diffusés par radio et/ou télévision câblée) et des ressources en réseau (par exemple l'Internet). Ce procédé comprend les étapes consistant: à intégrer des informations d'accès dans un support de transmission, ces informations d'accès permettant l'accès au contenu de la ressource en réseau correspondant au contenu dudit signal d'information; à transmettre ce signal d'information ainsi que ces informations d'accès (98, 100); à recevoir ledit signal d'information et lesdites informations d'accès à un poste utilisateur; à extraire ces informations d'accès dudit support de transmission; à utiliser ces informations d'accès pour accéder à la source en réseau au moyen d'un signal d'accès (102, 104); et à afficher le contenu de cette source en réseau sur ledit terminal utilisateur correspondant audites informations d'accès. L'invention concerne également divers modes de réalisation, dans lesquels le fournisseur de ressource en réseau, ou un fournisseur de signal audio/vidéo indépendant (94) fournit le signal d'information (98, 100), par l'intermédiaire d'organes câblés (98) et non câblés (100).
