Abstract:
(EN) A transmitter/receiver basestation processing a plurality of channels in an RF band is disclosed. The transmitters and receivers of the present invention up-convert or down-convert the RF band as a whole, rather than on a channel-by-channel basis. After up-converting/down-converting to intermediate frequency, the respective channel signals are extracted/combined by means of a plurality of mixed-up or mixed-down base band carriers. The present basestation dramatically improves the efficiencies of the basestation such that the components of the basestation can be integrated on a single chip.
(FR) La présente invention se rapporte à une station de base émettrice /réceptrice traitant une pluralité de canaux dans une bande radio. Les émetteurs et récepteurs de cette invention élèvent ou réduisent la bande radio dans sa totalité et non canal par canal. Après élévation/réduction à la fréquence intermédiaire, les signaux des différents canaux sont extraits/combinés au moyen d'une pluralité de supports bande de base mélangés par élévation ou par réduction. La présente station de base améliore de manière considérable l'efficacité de la station de base, si bien qu'il a été possible d'intégrer dans un seul microcircuit les composants de la station de base.
