Abstract:
(EN) This invention is a remote charging system (1) for use with an electrical storage device (13) mounted in an electric or electric/hybrid vehicle (2). The system includes a power transmission unit (20) capable of transmitting electrical energy to the electrical storage device (13) via a wireless energy beam (5). The vehicle (2) includes an antenna (3) capable of receiving the wireless energy beam (5) and transferring the electrical energy to the storage device (13). The vehicle (2) further includes a translocator (4) for transmitting a coded signal (6) to the power transmission unit (20) corresponding to the location of the vehicle (2) and thereby activating the power transmission unit (20). The power transmission unit (20) receives and blocks onto the coded signal (6) and thereby tracks the vehicle (2) during the charging operation. The translocator signal (6) is transmitted until the electrical storage unit (13) reaches a predetermined level of charge.
(FR) L'invention concerne un système de charge à distance à utiliser en combinaison avec un accumulateur électrique monté sur un véhicule électrique ou électrique/hybride. Le système comprend une unité de transmission d'énergie capable de transmettre l'énergie électrique à l'accumulateur électrique via un faisceau de rayonnement en ondes hertziennes. Le véhicule a une antenne pouvant capter ce faisceau et transférer l'énergie à l'accumulateur. Le véhicule a aussi un élément de translocalisation pour envoyer à l'unité de transmission d'énergie un signal codé qui correspond à l'emplacement du véhicule, afin d'activer ladite unité. L'unité de transmission d'énergie reçoit le signal codé et se verrouille sur lui pour suivre le véhicule en cours de charge. L'élément de translocalisation émet ce signal jusqu'au moment où l'accumulateur atteint un niveau de charge préétabli.
