Abstract:
(EN) The invention pertains to an optical device comprising a cascade of optical switches, elements (5) for driving the switches, bond pads (6) for connecting the device to peripheral equipment, and leads (7) for electrically connecting the elements to the bond pads, wherein, in top view, at least part of each lead (7) runs both substantially parallel to at least one adjacent lead (7) and obliquely with respect to the central longitudinal axis (8) of the device. The device of the present invention is more compact than cnventional devices.
(FR) L'invention concerne un dispositif optique. Ce dispositif comprend une cascade de commutateurs optiques, des éléments (5) pour entraîner les commutateurs, des plages de connexion (6) pour connecter le dispositif à un équipement périphérique, et des conducteurs (7) pour connecter électriquement les éléments aux plages de connexion. Dans ces dernières, selon une vue de dessus, au moins une partie de chaque conducteur (7) est disposée de manière sensiblement parallèle à au moins un conducteur adjacent (7) et de manière oblique, par rapport à l'axe longitudinal central (8) du dispositif. Le dispositif selon la présente invention est plus compact que les dispositifs traditionnels.
