Abstract:
(EN) A dual pumping element fluid system for an engine or other system which reduces the driving power consumption by unloading one pumping element (38) through the use of recirculation when a fluid pressure target value is achieved. A cross-over port (94) fluid system prevents cavitation of the unloaded pump. A pressure-activated flow control valve mechanism (54) is utilized to open and close the conduits from the secondary pump. The fluid system works in conjunction with an engine balance shaft system to control gear rattle at low speeds without adding undue gear loads at high speeds.
(FR) L'invention concerne un système fluidique à double élément de pompage pour moteur ou autre sytème, qui réduit la consommation de puissance d'entraînement, par décharge d'un élément de pompage (38), par recirculation lorsqu'un seuil de pression fluidique est atteint. Un système fluidique à orifice d'intersection (94) évite les risques de cavitation de la pompe non chargée. Un mécanisme de soupape de régulation de débit (54) sert à ouvrir et à fermer les conduites de la pompe secondaire. Le système fluidique fonctionne en liaison avec un système de volant d'équilibrage du moteur, pour contrôler le broutement de transmission à faible vitesse sans ajouter de charge de transmission exagérée à vitesse élevée.
