Abstract:
(EN) A flame-retardant polycarbonate resin composition, characterized by comprising a polycarbonate resin (A) and a composite rubbery graft copolymer (B), preferably one obtained by grafting a composite rubber having a structure constituted of 1 to 99 wt.% of a polyorganosiloxane rubber component and 99 to 1 wt.% of a polyalkyl acrylate rubber component, the two components being so intertwisted with each other as not to separate from each other, and a mean particle diameter of 0.01 to 0.6 $g(m)m with one or more vinyl monomers, at an (A) to (B) weight ratio of 99:1 to 90:10, and by containing, per 100 parts by weight of the sum total of the components (A) and (B), 0.3 to 1.2 parts by weight (in terms of phosphorus) of a halogen-free phosphoric ester (C) and 0.01 to 1.0 part by weight of polytetrafluoroethylene (D), the weight ratio of the graft copolymer (B) to the phosphorus resulting from the phosphoric ester (C) lying within the range of 2 to 15; and housing of OA equipment and electrical and electronic appliances and battery packs made by molding the composition. The composition is improved in mechanical properties such as impact resistance, is excellent in moldability and flowability, and exhibits high flame retardance even without resort to any bromine compound.
(FR) Composition ignifuge de résine de polycarbonate caractérisée par le fait qu'elle contient une résine de polycarbonate (A) et un copolymère greffe composite caoutchouteux (B), de préférence, un copolymère obtenu par greffe d'un caoutchouc composite possédant une structure constituée par 1 à 99 % en poids d'un constituant de caoutchouc de polyorganosiloxane et par 99 à 1 % en poids d'un constituant de caoutchouc d'acrylate de polyalkyle, ces deux constituants étant intimement mêlés l'un à l'autre, de façon à ne pas se séparer, présente un diamètre moyen de particule de 0,01 à 0,6 $g(m)m avec un ou plusieurs monomères de vinyle, selon un rapport de poids entre (A) et (B) de 99: 1 à 90: 10, et contient, pour 100 parties en poids de la totalité de la somme des constituants (A) et (B), 0,3 à 1,2 parties en poids (en termes de phosphore) d'un ester phosphorique exempt d'halogène (C) et 0,01 à 1 partie en poids de polytétrafluoroéthylène (D), le rapport en poids entre le copolymère greffe (B) et le phosphore correspondant à la situation de l'ester phosphorique (C) dans une plage de 2 à 15. Boîtiers d'équipements et d'appareils électriques et électroniques, ainsi que blocs-piles fabriqués par moulage de cette composition. Cette composition possède des propriétés améliorées, telles que la résistance au choc, présente des capacités excellentes de moulage et d'écoulement et est extrêmement ignifuge sans qu'il soit nécessaire d'avoir recours à tout composé à base de brome.
