Abstract:
(EN) Styrene phosphonic acid (SPA) can be formed by the reaction of phosphorous acid with acetophenone, preferably in the presence of a Lewis acid catalyst, to form a hydroxy adduct intermediate thereof which is then reacted with acetic anhydride to form the acyl derivative of the hydroxy adduct, followed by removal of an acetic acid moiety therefrom, preferably in the presence of an acidic catalyst, to form the styrene phosphonic acid product.
(FR) L'acide phosphonique de styrène peut être formé en faisant réagir l'acide phosphoreux avec de l'acétophénone, de préférence, en présence d'un catalyseur acide de Lewis pour former un intermédiaire de composé d'addition hydroxy de ce dernier que l'on fait ensuite réagir avec de l'anhydride acétique pour former le dérivé acyle du composé d'addition hydroxy. On retire ensuite une fraction d'acide acétique de ce dernier, de préférence, en présence d'un catalyseur acide, pour former le produit d'acide phosphonique de styrène.
