Abstract:
(EN) Aluminum compounds represented by formula (1): Al(R1-SO3)l(R2)m(R3)n (wherein R1 represents an optionally substituted hydrocarbon group; R2 represents an optionally substituted hydrocarbon group, an optionally substituted aliphatic hydrocarbonoxy group, or halogeno; R3 represents an optionally substituted aromatic hydrocarbonoxy group; and l, m, and n each is a number of 0 to 3, provided that (l+m+n)=3 and l is not 0); an acid catalyst containing the same; and a process for producing an ester, acetal, ketal, ether, or alkyl glycoside by using the catalyst. The catalyst is suitable for use in a variety of reactions such as acid-catalyzed reactions of alcohols, i.e., reactions with carbonyl compounds, e.g., esterification, transesterification, acetalization and ketalization, etherification, and ring-opening reactions of epoxy compounds. It is not deactivated by alcoholysis and has a sufficient activity, and the reactions catalyzed by it can be easily controlled and are reduced in side reactions. Consequently, using the catalyst enables an objective substance to be produced in a high yield from starting materials used in an almost equimolar proportion.
(FR) Composés d'aluminium représentés par la formule générale (1): Al(R1-SO3)l(R2)m(R3)n (dans laquelle R1 représente un groupe hydrocarbure éventuellement substitué; R2 représente un groupe hydrocarbure éventuellement substitué, un groupe hydrocarbonoxy aliphatique éventuellement substitué ou halogéno; R3 représente un groupe hydrocarbonoxy aromatique éventuellement substitué; et l, m et n sont chacun un nombre compris entre 0 et 3, à condition que (l+m+n)=3 et que l ne soit pas 0); catalyseur acide contenant ces composés; et procédé pour produire un ester, acétal, cétal, éther ou glycoside d'alkyle au moyen de ce catalyseur. Ce catalyseur est utilisable pour diverses réactions, notamment les réactions de catalyse par l'acide des alcools, à savoir les réactions avec des composés carbonyle, p. ex. l'estérification, la transestérification, l'acétalisation et la cétalisation, l'éthérification et les réactions d'ouverture du cycle de composés époxy. Il n'est pas désactivé par l'alcoolyse et présente une activité suffisante, et les réactions catalysées par ce composé peuvent être maîtrisées facilement et n'entraînent que peu de réactions secondaires. Par conséquent l'utilisation de ce catalyseur permet de produire un composant recherché avec un rendement élevée à partir de matériaux de départ utilisés en proportion quasiment équimolaire.
