(EN)Olefins are selectively converted to epoxides using hydrogen peroxide as oxidant in a single liquid phase reaction system characterized by a liquid phase comprised predominantly of an organic solvent. The reaction is catalyzed by a compound comprised of a phosphate-stabilized peroxotungstate species having a W:P atomic ratio of 2:1.
(FR)L'invention concerne des oléfines qui sont transformées, de manière sélective, en époxydes à l'aide de péroxyde d'hydrogène utilisé comme oxydant dans un système de réaction à une seule phase liquide. Ce système se caractérise par une phase liquide constituée essentiellement d'un solvant organique.
