Abstract:
(EN) The invention concerns a theft protection device for motor vehicles prohibiting gear shifting on a motor vehicle having a gearbox with mechanical control, the device being installed instead and in lieu of a gear shift control rod assembly. The device consists of two assemblies, the first (1 to 10), the second (17) capable of mutually sliding into each other. By the action of the electric current, the two assemblies are locked by the balls (13) enabling gear shifting. When there is no current, the assembly (17) slides on the part (10) from the front rearwards prohibiting gear transmission. This device is particularly applicable to motor vehicles.
(FR) L'invention concerne un dispositif interdisant le passage d'une vitesse sur un véhicule automobile équipé d'une boîte à vitesses dite à commande mécanique. Dispositif installé en lieu et place d'une tringlerie de commande de passage de vitesse. Il est constitué de deux ensembles. Le premier (de 1 à 10), le deuxième (17), pouvant coulisser l'un dans l'autre. Sous l'action du courant électrique, verrouillage des deux ensembles par les billes (13) permettant le passage d'une vitesse. Par absence de courant, l'ensemble (17) coulisse sur la pièce (10) d'avant en arrière sans possibilité de passer une vitesse. Ce dispositif selon l'invention est particulièrement destiné aux véhicules automobiles.
