Abstract:
(EN) Automatic gear changing in a mechanical stepped gearbox without clutch release in a motor vehicle involves the generation of a signal ($g(f)) representing the torque transmitted in the gear box (6). This signal is driven to nil by the applied engine torque (M) being reduced so long as the signal is other than nil. Gear changing is executed when the signal has been driven to nil, thereby ensuring that the operative gear is disengaged quickly and gently. The signal used to represent the torque in the gearbox is a signal denoting the corresponding torsion ($g(f)) of driveshafts (12) connected to the vehicle's driving wheels (14).
(FR) Lors du changement automatique de vitesse dans une boîte de vitesses mécanique sans débrayage d'un véhicule à moteur, un signal ($g(f)) représentant le couple actuellement transmis à la boîte de vitesses (6) est généré. Ce signal est amené à zéro par réduction du couple moteur (M) tant que le signal diffère de zéro. Le changement de vitesse s'effectue une fois le signal égal à zéro. Ainsi, la vitesse opérationnelle est désenclenchée rapidement et en douceur. Le signal représentant le couple de la boîte de vitesses utilise un signal indiquant le couple de torsion actuel ($g(f)) des essieux (12) qui sont raccordés aux roues motrices du véhicule.
