Abstract:
(EN) A process for the $i(in-situ) formation of an ionic liquid catalyst, in the reactor vessel intended for use in an ionic liquid-catalyzed chemical reaction, by the separate addition of the reagents needed to form the ionic liquid to the reactor for the chemical reaction. At least one reagent for such ionic liquid catalyst and at least one reagent for the desired chemical reaction can be initially added to a reactor vessel, followed thereafter by the addition of the other reagent or reagents needed to form the ionic liquid catalyst $i(in-situ). The $i(in-situ) formation of the ionic liquid catalyst will thereby take place either before initiation of or during the desired chemical reaction (which can be an alkylation reaction of either an aromatic reagent or a paraffin or the oligomerization of an olefin). A particularly preferred chemical reaction involves the formation of a linear alkylbenzene with the initial reagent for forming the ionic liquid being aluminum trichloride and the other reagent needed to form the ionic liquid catalyst $i(in-situ) being a base (either an alkyl-containing amine hydrohalide salt or a guanidinium salt).
(FR) L'invention concerne un procédé pour former $i(in situ) un catalyseur liquide ionique, dans une cuve de réacteur prévue pour la mise en oeuvre d'une réaction chimique catalysée liquide et ionique. Ce procédé consiste à ajouter séparément dans le réacteur les réactifs requis pour former le liquide ionique destiné à permettre la réaction chimique. On peut introduire dans la cuve de réacteur au moins un réactif pour ce type de catalyseur liquide ionique et au moins un réactif pour la réaction chimique requise, avant d'ajouter l'autre réactif ou les autres réactifs requis pour former le catalyseur liquide ionique $i(in situ). La formation $i(in situ) du catalyseur liquide ionique peut ainsi s'effectuer avant l'initiation de la réaction chimique requise ou au cours de cette dernière (qui peut être une réaction d'alkylation d'un réactif aromatique ou d'une paraffine ou l'oligomérisation d'une oléfine). Une réaction chimique particulièrement préférée consiste à former un alkylbenzène linéaire avec comme réactif initial pour former le liquide ionique un trichlorure d'aluminium et comme autre réactif requis pour former le catalyseur liquide ionique $i(in situ) une base (un sel d'hydrohalogénure d'amine contenant de l'alkyle ou un sel de guanidium).
