Abstract:
(EN) Fluid, in which particles are suspended, is passed along a duct (12, 14, 16, 18) having means (20, 22) for establishing an acoustic standing wave field so that the particles are displaced to form parallel bands. The duct includes an expansion in width (16) so that the spacing between the bands of particles is increased, so that these bands are easier to observe and/or to separate from the duct.
(FR) L'invention concerne un procédé selon lequel on fait passer le fluide, dans lequel sont suspendues des particules, dans un conduit (12, 14, 16, 18) doté d'éléments (20, 22) permettant d'établir un champ d'ondes acoustiques stationnaires et ce, de manière que les particules soient déplacées afin qu'elles forment des bandes parallèles. Le conduit comporte un élargissement (16) permettant d'accroître l'espace existant entre les bandes de particules afin que celles-ci soient plus faciles à observer et/ou à séparer du conduit.
