Title (EN) TISSUE FIXATION WITH CROSS-LINKING COMPOUNDS
(FR) FIXATION DE TISSUS A L'AIDE DE COMPOSES DE RETICULATION
Abstract:
(EN) An apparatus (100) is described for cross-linking tissue using a selected molecular weight distribution of oligomers of the cross-linking compound. The oligomers are selected by diffusion through a semipermeable membrane (120). Preferred cross-linking compounds include dialdehydes. The apparatus can be configured in several different ways (200, 300). The tissue (150) treated in this way has improved properties. The method can be adapted to the cross-linking of beneficial molecules to the tissue.
