Abstract:
(EN) A fingerline profile identification method and apparatus are equipped with a three-dimensional self focusing scan system. From a relative small fraction of the skin area to be tested two identification points are determined, for example the minimum and the maximum depth values. Based on these points an unambiguously identifiable measurement line is defined. A preferably continuous curve representing the measured height variation measured along the measurement line is differentiated and the zero crossings of the derivative are used as storable identification marks.
(FR) L'invention concerne un procédé et un dispositif permettant d'identifier les empreintes digitales, qui font appel à un système de balayage tridimensionnel à mise au point automatique. A partir d'une fraction relativement petite de la zone cutanée à étudier, deux points d'identification sont déterminés, par exemple la profondeur maximale et la profondeur minimale. Sur la base de ces deux points, une ligne de mesure identifiable de manière non ambiguë est définie. Une courbe, de préférence continue, représentant la variation de la hauteur mesurée le long de la ligne de mesure, est différenciée, puis les passages à zéro de la dérivée sont utilisés comme signes d'identification mémorisables.
