Abstract:
(EN) A blend of bonding polyester resin with an acid resistant polyester resin and heat dispersant filler to provide a liner to preserve, protect and/or restore concrete (2) and other structural surfaces which are subjected to acidic environments. A core or structural layer of a composite of polymer (9) and milled fiberglass (10) can be included for badly deteriorated surfaces in need of increased structural strength. The blend can also be used in combination with aggregate milled fiberglass to be extruded or molded into articles which are substituents for conventional concrete. An apparatus (3) for applying the composites to the structural layer is also included. The blend may be highly filled and spray applied (3b) to masonry surfaces (2) and used in combination with plug material and fabric to successfully patch leaking cavities in said masonry surfaces.
(FR) La présente invention concerne un mélange de résine de polyester de liaison avec une résine de polyester résistant à un acide et une charge dispersante de chaleur destinée à fournir une garniture permettant de conserver, de protéger, et/ou de restaurer du béton (2) et d'autres surfaces structurales soumises à des environnements acides. Un noyau ou une couche structurale d'un composite polymère (9) et fibre de verre (10) broyée peut être incorporé dans des surfaces gravement détériorées dont on veut augmenter la résistance structurale. Le mélange peut également être utilisé en combinaison avec des agrégats de fibre de verre broyée de façon à être extrudé ou moulé en articles qui sont des substituts du béton traditionnel. La présente invention concerne également un appareil (3) permettant d'appliquer les composites sur la couche structurale. Le mélange peut être fortement chargé et appliqué par pulvérisation (3b) sur des surfaces (2) de maçonnerie, utilisé en combinaison avec un matériau d'obturation et un tissu de façon à réparer avec succès des cavités provoquant des fuites dans lesdites surfaces.
