Abstract:
(EN) The present invention relates to a surgical retractor that immobilizes tissue at a surgical site. A preferred embodiment of the retractor is used during minimally invasive direct coronary bypass procedures to arrest movement of the grafting site while the heart continues pumping. Tape or thread can be used to connect the artery to the retractor with a holder.
(FR) L'invention porte sur un écarteur chirurgical qui permet d'immobiliser des tissus sur un site chirurgical. Selon une réalisation préférée, l'écarteur est utilisé lors d'interventions directes, très peu invasives, de pontage coronarien pour empêcher l'élargissement du site de greffage lorsque le coeur continue de pomper. Des bandes ou fils peuvent être utilisés pour raccorder l'artère à l'écarteur au moyen d'un dispositif de retenue.
