Neben den die Bitübertragungschicht, Sicherungsschicht und die Vermittlungsschicht für die leitungsgebunden angeschlossenen Kommunikationsendgeräte (KE) realisierenden Schicht 1, Schicht 2 und Schicht-3-Meldungen (PSTN, ISDN, L3M) ist erfingungsgemäß für die schnurlos angeschlossenen Kommunikationsendgeräte (KE) eine zusätzliche Schicht-2-Meldung (MM) definiert, in der Mobilitäts-Management-Informationen (mmi) als Schicht-3-Meldungen (L3M) übermittelt werden. Diese zusätzlichen Schicht-2-Meldungen (MM) sind für die standardisierten Schnittstellen V.5.1 und V.5.2 vorgesehen.

In addition to layer 1, layer 2 and layer-3-messages (PSTN, ISDN, L3M) conducting the physical layer, the data link layer and the network layer for the communication terminals (KE) with line conducted connection, the invention provides an additional layer-2 message (mm) for the cordless-connected communication terminals (KE), in which mobility management information items (mmi) are transferred as layer-3-messages. These additional layer-2-messages are intended for the standardized interfaces V.5.1 and V.5.2.

En plus des messages couche 1, couche 2 et couche 3 (PSTN, ISDN, L3M) réalisant le niveau physique, la couche de sécurité et la couche de télécommunication pour les terminaux de communication (KE) à connexion guidée de lignes, il est prévu, conformément à l'invention, pour les terminaux de communication connectés sans fil (KE), un message couche 2 supplémentaire (MM) dans lequel des informations de gestion de mobilité (mmi) sont transférées sous forme de messages couche 3 (L3M). Ces messages couche 2 supplémentaires (MM) sont prévus pour les interfaces standardisés V.5.1 et V.5.2.
