A flow cell comprising a mixer having first and second inlets for receiving fluids to be mixed and a common mixed fluids outlet, a body defining a chamber having an inlet connected to the mixer outlet and an outlet, and means for delivering fluids to the mixer inlets at predetermined flow rates. A window is formed in at least one wall of the chamber through which mixed fluids within the chamber may be observed. The mixer inlets and outlet are interconnected at a common junction and are dimensioned such that at the predetermined flow rates fluid flow is turbulent immediately upstream and downstream of the junction, and the chamber inlet is defined by a plurality of conduits which communicate in parallel with spaced-apart portions of the chamber and are dimensioned such that at the predetermined flow rates fluid flow is laminar immediately upstream of the chamber.

L'invention a pour objet une cuve à circulation. Cette cuve comprend un mélangeur comportant des première et deuxième entrées pour recevoir des fluides à mélanger. Elle comprend également une sortie commune de fluides mélangés, ainsi qu'un corps définissant une chambre pourvue d'une entrée, reliée à la sortie du mélangeur, et d'une sortie, et des moyens pour fournir les fluides aux entrées du mélangeur, selon des débits prédéterminés. Une fenêtre est formée dans au moins une paroi de la chambre, à travers laquelle des fluides mélangés à l'intérieur de cette dernière peuvent être observés. Les entrées et la sortie du mélangeur sont reliées au niveau d'une jonction commune et sont dimensionnées de telle sorte que, aux débits prédéterminés, l'écoulement du fluide présente une turbulence immédiatement en amont et en aval de la jonction, et l'entrée de la chambre est définie par une pluralité de conduits qui communiquent en parallèle avec des parties espacées de la chambre et sont dimensionnés de telle sorte que, aux débits prédéterminés, l'écoulement du fluide est laminaire, immédiatement en amont de la chambre.
