A process for separating biological substances by using a photoresist, which comprises immobilizing and embedding a sample derived from a living body in a photoresist (2), exposing that part of the photoresist (2) which covers the sample to light L having an appropriate wavelength to modify the photoresist in order to obtain a specific substance derived from the living body, e.g., specific cells or biopolymer, and recovering the substance derived from the living body embedded in the modified photoresist (2).

L'invention concerne un procédé de séparation des substances biologiques au moyen d'un photorésist, qui consiste à immobiliser et à incorporer un échantillon issu d'un organisme vivant dans un photorésist (2), à exposer la partie du photorésist (2) qui couvre l'échantillon à une lumière L ayant une longueur d'onde appropriée pour modifier le photorésist, de manière à obtenir une substance spécifique dérivée de l'organisme vivant (par exemple, cellules particulières ou biopolymère) et à récupérer ladite substance incorporée dans le photorésist modifié (2).
