Abstract:
(EN) The present invention relates to a novel I-FLICE-1 or I-FLICE-2 protein which is a novel inhibitor of TNFR-1 and CD-95 induced apoptosis. In particular, isolated nucleic acid molecules are provided encoding the human I-FLICE-1 or I-FLICE-2 protein. I-FLICE-1 or I-FLICE-2 polypeptides are also provided as are vectors, host cells and recombinant methods for producing the same. The invention further relates to screening methods for identifying agonists and antagonists of I-FLICE-1 or I-FLICE-2 activity. Also provided are therapeutic methods for treating diseases and disorders associated with apoptosis.
(FR) L'invention concerne une nouvelle protéine I-FLICE-1 ou I-FLICE-2 qui est un nouvel inhibiteur de récepteur du facteur de nécrose tumorale de type 1 (TNFR-1) et d'apoptose induite par CD-95. L'invention concerne en particulier des molécules d'acide nucléique isolées codant la protéine I-FLICE-1 ou I-FLICE-2 humaine. L'invention concerne également des polypeptides I-FLICE-1 ou I-FLICE-2, ainsi que des vecteurs, des cellules hôtes et des méthodes de recombinaison permettant d'obtenir ces polypeptides. L'invention concerne encore des méthodes de criblage permettant d'identifier des agonistes et antagonistes de l'activité de I-FLICE-1 ou I-FLICE-2.
