(EN)Ultrasonic visualisation of a subject, particularly of perfusion in the myocardium and other tissues, is performed using novel gas-containing contrast agent preparations which promote controllable and temporary growth of the gas phase $i(in vivo) following administration and can therefore act as deposited perfusion tracers. The preparations include a coadministerable composition comprising a diffusible component capable of inward diffusion into the dispersed gas phase to promote temporary growth thereof. In cardiac perfusion imaging the preparations may advantageously be coadministered with vasodilator drugs such as adenosine in order to enhance the differences in return signal intensity from normal and hypoperfused myocardial tissue respectively.
(FR)L'invention concerne la visualisation ultrasonique d'un sujet, particulièrement d'une perfusion dans le myocarde et d'autres tissus, réalisée au moyen de nouvelles préparations d'agents de contraste renfermant des gaz, ces préparations favorisant une dilatation régulable et temporaire de la phase gazeuse $i(in vivo) après leur administration, et pouvant donc agir comme des traceurs de perfusions rémanents. Ces préparations comprennent une composition administrable simultanément, comportant un composant diffusible capable de se diffuser à l'intérieur de la phase gazeuse dispersée pour favoriser une dilatation temporaire de ladite phase gazeuse. Dans une scintigraphie de perfusion cardiaque, lesdites préparations peuvent, pour un meilleur résultat, être administrées en même temps que des médicaments vasodilatateurs tels que l'adénosine.
