Abstract

The invention provides a process for the production of aspartic acid condensate from a carbohydrate comprising the steps of: fermenting a carbohydrate-containing medium by means of a fumaric acid-producing microorganism, whereby a fumarate-containing fermentation liquor is formed; forming a purified ammonium fumarate solution from the fumarate-containing fermentation liquor; enzymatically converting the purified ammonium fumarate into purified ammonium aspartate; heating an aqueous solution of an aspartate salt derived from the purified ammonium aspartate whereby water is removed, and aspartic acid condensate is formed and a second product is formed, which second product is basic and contains the cation of the aspartate salt; and removing and using the basic second product as a reagent in another step of the process.

L'invention concerne un procédé de production d'un condensat d'acide aspartique à partir d'un hydrate de carbone. Ce procédé comprend les étapes suivantes: fermentation d'un milieu renfermant de l'hydrate de carbone, au moyen d'un micro-organisme produisant de l'acide fumarique, ce qui permet la formation d'une liqueur de fermentation renfermant du fumarate; formation d'une solution de fumarate d'ammonium purifié à partir de la liqueur de fermentation renfermant du fumarate; transformation par action enzymatique du fumarate d'ammonium purifié en aspartate d'ammonium purifié; chauffage d'une solution aqueuse d'un sel d'aspartate dérivé de l'aspartate d'ammonium purifié, ce qui permet l'élimination de l'eau et la formation d'un condensat d'acide aspartique et d'un second produit, ce second produit étant basique et renfermant le cation du sel d'aspartate; et élimination et utilisation du second produit basique en tant que réactif dans une autre étape du procédé.
