(EN)A raw concentrate for the production of glass or ceramic is obtained by heating a metal hydroxide and an oxide which are used in the production of glass and ceramic. The hydroxide typically has a melting point of 500 °C, while the NaOH: SiO¿2? weight ratio is equal to 0.37. The raw components used in the fabrication of glass sheets may be partly or entirely replaced with the raw concentrates of the present invention so as to obtain a glass sheet from a blend having the following composition in parts by weight: sand: 4.93; chalk: 8.46; alumina: 1.19; magnesium oxide: 2.86; the above-mentioned raw concentrate representing 63.27.
(FR)Cette invention concerne un concentré de matières premières destiné à la production de verre ou de céramique, lequel est obtenu en chauffant un hydroxyde de métal et un oxyde qui sont utilisés dans la fabrication du verre et de la céramique. La température de fusion de l'hydroxyde est de 500 °C, par exemple, tandis que le rapport en poids NaOH: SiO¿2? est de 0,37. Les composants des matières premières utilisés dans la fabrication de verre en feuilles, peuvent être partiellement ou entièrement remplacés par les concentrés de matières premières décrits dans la présente invention. On obtient ainsi un verre en feuille à partir d'un mélange de base qui possède la composition suivante en parts en poids: 4,93 de sable; 8,46 de craie; 1,19 d'alumine; 2,86 d'oxyde de magnésium; et 63,27 du concentré de matières premières susmentionné.
