A ratio mixing valve for mixing first and second fluids in a constant volumetric ratio regardless of variations of supply pressures of the two fluids. The valve has an inlet passage (16) for the first fluid that passes through a spool valve chamber (46), and an inlet passage (18) for the second fluid that also passes through the spool valve chamber (46). Vent passages (60, 62) connect the two fluid passages to the ends of the spool valve chamber (46). The spool valve (64) has a pair of annular grooves (66, 70) aligned with the two inlet passages (16, 18). One groove partially blocks one of the inlet passages to form a variable orifice (92) that responds to pressure changes in the incoming fluids by moving the spool valve (64) to a position which adjusts the volumetric flow through the two passages to maintain a constant ratio between the fluids in the mixture.

Vanne permettant de mélanger des premier et second fluides selon un rapport volumétrique constant, quelles que soient les variations des pressions d'alimentation des deux fluides. Ladite vanne possède un passage (16) d'entrée pour le premier fluide qui passe à travers une chambre (46) de vanne à tiroir cylindrique et un passage (18) d'entrée pour le second fluide qui passe également à travers la chambre (46) de vanne à tiroir cylindrique. Des évents (60, 62) connectent les deux passages à fluide aux extrémités de la chambre (46) de vanne à tiroir cylindrique. La vanne (46) à tiroir cylindrique possède une paire de rainures annulaires (66, 70) alignées avec les deux passages d'entrée (16, 18). L'une des rainures bloque partiellement l'un des passages d'entrée pour former un orifice variable (92) répondant aux changements de pression des fluides entrants par déplacement de la vanne (46) à tiroir cylindrique vers une position qui ajuste le flux volumétrique dans les deux passages pour maintenir un rapport constant entre les fluides du mélange.
