(EN)A battery protective circuit is provided with an overcharge detecting circuit which detects the overcharging of a battery and a charge inhibiting circuit which inhibits the charging of the battery after giving prescribed delay time to an overcharge detecting signal by using a capacitance element. The charge inhibiting circuit can detect the short-circuit of the capacitance element for giving the delay time and, upon detection of the short-circuit of the capacitance element, inhibits the charging of the battery without providing the delay time. Therefore, the safety of a power unit is improved, because the charging of the battery is inhibited even when the capacitance element short-circuits.
(FR)Circuit de protection de batterie comprenant un circuit qui détecte la surcharge de la batterie et un circuit qui inhibe la charge de la batterie après un temps de latence consécutif à un signal de détection de surcharge produit au moyen d'un condensateur. Le circuit d'inhibition de charge est capable de détecter le court-circuit du condensateur pour produire le temps de latence et, lors de la détection du court-circuit du condensateur, inhibe la charge de la batterie sans produire de temps de latence. On améliore donc la sécurité d'une unité d'alimentation du fait que la charge de la batterie est inhibée même lorsque le condensateur est en court-circuit.
